(tunic top VINTAGE, jeans THE LOFT, boots TBA via SOLESTRUCK)
Tunic tops, the longer length blouse but too short to be a dress dilemma. I solve the peeping booty problem by throwing on a pair of jeans. Other options are a pair of cute shorts that can be hidden so the tunic isn't so scandalous or trousers for a more dressed up look. This top is perfect for a more casual interview which I've worn on occasion but I'd opt for a skirt with knee highs instead of the jeans for a more put together vibe.
I'm still in the process of spring cleaning my closet. I am editing very meticulously, taking out pieces that no longer speak Jobabyy vibes and that are worn out over time. I had a discussion with a friend this past weekend about investment pieces and thrift store shopping particularly on what to spend and what to splurge your money's worth. I usually spend more money on staples that won't go out of style in my book such as leather goods (jackets, purses and shoes). I am constantly revamping my closet because I am literally spending 2 to 3 dollars on thrift store/ vintage pieces therefore I don't feel the guilt when getting rid of an item because of how much it cost. I also am donating these items to be worn again or selling them at a buy, sell, trade type of store which also recycles the clothing all very good for the environment and my bank account!
